What is an interim expert in the quality sector needed for?

Quality is an omnipresent topic. In every industry, in every field. A high standard of quality can only be maintained if quality control processes and systems are constantly monitored and optimised. To this end, quality standards and guidelines are implemented and staff are expertly trained to comply with legal and industry-specific regulations.

What are the tasks of a quality interim manager?

An interim quality manager has the task of taking over or optimising quality assurance within a company at short notice. This includes reviewing existing processes and procedures, implementing quality standards and training staff.

The interim manager’s goal is to achieve sustainable improvements and to strengthen quality awareness within the company. Through his external perspective, he can work objectively and make experience-based decisions to bring about positive changes quickly and effectively.

What does a quality interim earn?

The salary of interim quality experts is calculated in daily rates and determined by the requirement of the project, the current market situation and the management level of the candidate. This is currently in a range of 1200-1700 euros. The rule of thumb is that the daily rate of an interim manager is approx. 1% of the annual salary in a comparable permanent position.
